Dynamic analysis of pile driving is used to model pile behavior and estimate stress prior to pile installation. Also dynamic methods enable the measurement of actual performance of pile during driving. SMG personnel are qualified and experienced in dynamic analysis of pile. We use state-of-the art software such as GRL WEAP to model the pile driving behavior. During pile installation, dynamic pile monitoring is done with the Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA) to yield information regarding hammer driving system, pile driving stresses, and pile and soil behavior. We have extensive experience in installation monitoring of piles, especially pile foundations of offshore structures.
Field measurements obtained with PDA can be used for predicting the load carrying capacity of piles, soil resistance distribution and soil model parameters using the software CAPWAP (Case Pile Wave Analysis Program). Our senior-level personnel have expertise to carry out CAPWAP analysis, having done the analysis for a large number of offshore projects.
