SMG has provided services as client representative for a large number of offshore and nearshore geotechnical investigations including field and laboratory supervision. As client representative our role is to ensure the adherence to documented procedures (QA/QC). Also we ensure proper co-ordination between client and geotechnical investigation contractor. Our engineers have worked as client representative for QA/QC of soil investigation in dedicated drill ships such as MV Bavenit, MV Teknik Samudra, MV Mariner, MV Diabaz, etc. We also have experience of working as client representative on special projects such as Swiss Cheese operation to alleviate the punch-through potential of Jack up rig.
